13 years old- Nothing special if you don’t wear makeup
Skin concerns: blackheads on nose, under eyes and chin and white heads in my hairline and few on my forehead.
I am 13 and I don’t wear makeup or sunscreen. I am curr... Read moreently trying out this sunscreen I ordered and my sensitive skin that is allergic to chemical sunscreens is living the new physical sunscreen I got. On a rambling kinda note, I ordered the physical sunscreen, the purito comfy water sun block and my sensitive combination skin is loving it. So I was just using a double cleansing method on my skin and I found that the experience of this balm was very fun and just about the only reason I would use it. It glides around your face and was great fun to use. I also found that after I used it my chin and corners of my nose were very dry, which was understandable for my skin because my skin is not only combination but also sensitive. After use my skin felt slightly tight but not OVERLY striped but also not hydrated. To end my ramble, I feel the only reason you would need this is if you wear makeup but if you are using this to remove just sunscreen, you would need to have oilier and not sensitive skin as using a balm and then following the directions of using a water based cleanser after could overly dry your skin out. For me personally, I only use this balm for fun cause I find it can overly strip my skin using the double cleansing method with this balm and then the Cozrx morning gel cleanser dries out my skin if I did it every evening and then just used the cleanser in the morning and then the balm and cleanser in the evening. Sorry for the ramble, but basically I find this only worth the price if your skin isn’t too sensitive and you can get away with a double cleanse and if you have oily skin and not combination or definitely not dry skin. Read more friction. So much better than a cleansing oil that doesn't warm up in your hands as easily or glide on the face very well.
It's so pleasant to do a bit of a face massage with this as well as you're removing your make up. I wear the heaviest looking make up sometimes and this balm does a miraculous job taking off the majority, if anything almost all, the make up off. But i would never skip second cleanse although it already seems so clean. It emulsifies with water and washes the balm off your face so effortlessly and doesn't leave any residue or unclean areas on your skin. Your skin isn't left feeling dull and dry after as well.
A little also goes a very long way as it's so easy to glide and work with, so this tub is a hella generous amount that would last for ages! Read less
